Stiff Little Fingers

Come in, have a drink and talk to SLF fans from all three corners of the globe -- you never know, you might even bump into the Fingers themselves -- they have been known to frequent the odd pub in their time! The first drink's on us! Enjoy, and follow the Bar Rules below!

BAR RULES (aka THE DISCLAIMER)

Have a read of this, so you don't trip over straight away and make an arse of yourself!

1. The FLAG & EMBLEM is a place to come and have a bit of a crack about (and occasionally with) Stiff Little Fingers and, if you've got any sense, Newcastle United Football Club. The regulars here are fans of the band and are mostly grown ups who don't mind the use of a bit of "colourful" language from time to time. However, racist, sexist, and otherwise abusive language is not tolerated here. If you insist on perpetuating that sort of nonsense, you'll be removed from the pub by the landlady or her big strong bouncers.

2. Don't give out private information (such as your phone number or address), unless you want that annoying bloke you were talking to last night ringing you up every day and sending you newspaper cuttings! Remember, not everyone in a bar can talk at once, so there may be "silent" participants you don't know about, you know, like the old feller who sits in the corner with his whippet and drinks halfs of shandy all night.

3. If you bump into people in the pub who are offensive in their conversation, it's best to ignore them. There's always someone in every bar who can only get attention by annoying others; don't play their game. The Landlady reserves the right to chuck out people who get too rowdy!

4. Many of the locals in the FLAG & EMBLEM are from the UK. This means that they are fully equipped with the internationally feared tools of "Sarcasm" and "Irony". In some circumstances, you may find that they say things which, at face value, appear rude/cruel/just downright nasty and lead you to assume they are not nice people. Do not be fooled -- they may just be British.

5. The FLAG & EMBLEM has been drunk dry on many platforms by punters using varied browsers and should work fine on yours. You never know what might happen down the pub, but the Landlady is always close at hand if you've got any problems or need to know where the toilets are....
