![]() In the fall of '95, I was searching the Web for information on SLF's US tour, and finding nothing. I decided they needed a Web site. I phoned Dolph Taylor, (then drummer of SLF,) whom I'd never met, and told him my idea. He said, "Well, it couldn't hurt, could it." And with that inspiring mandate, I set out to create this site. It was launched on February 16, 1996. Ha! was Dolph wrong! Little did a know that almost ten years later, I'd end up married to one of these guys!
Along the way I've met so many wonderful people: Jack Rabid, Bobby Weeks, Matt Sandonato, Pam Cross, Darren Wood, Rob Hudgins, Sheryl, Wilber Wilson, Neil Rossetter, Ken Weingold, Louis Elovitz, John Roskruge, Baggy and the Baguettes, David Coulter, Stephen McGourty, Dave Hindmarsh, Ian Harper, my excellent friend Leo, Twizzy, Russell Emanuel, Paul Roper and the Roperettes, Howard Menzies, Kevin O'Dwyer, Ian Wilson, Dolphin Taylor, John Welch, Steve Jones, Alan Parker, Stevie Smith, Mark Patchel, Pauline Black, Nick Welsh, JJ Burnell, Dave Wakeling, Roddy Radiation, Bruce Foxton, all the wonderful people in the Roaring Gang and the Flag and Emblem -- and of course -- those fellows in the photo. It is truly a pleasure to know you all.Why did I create this site? See the lyrics to She Grew Up.
